What can we say about her?.

The character from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. Her prototype is the Duchess of Maultasch. The Duchess appears in Chapter 6, "Pig and Pepper." Leaving the Caterpillar, Alice came out into a wide clearing and saw a house right in front of her. Entering it, Alice found herself in a smoke-grey kitchen, in the center of which the Duchess was sitting on a stool and nursing a Child. The Cook was bustling over the stove, constantly peppering the soup. The Child was constantly sneezing and crying, and to calm him down, the Duchess decided to sing a lullaby. After that, she threw the Child to Alice and went to change, getting ready for the Royal Croquet. The next time we meet the Duchess is in Chapter 8, "Royal Croquet." The White Rabbit tells Alice that the Queen has ordered the Duchess to be executed for spanking her. Then, to deal with the Cheshire Cat (whose head keeps appearing and disappearing), the Queen orders the Duchess to be brought from prison, as the cat belongs to her. Then Alice and the Duchess move away from everyone, and the Duchess begins to give Alice advice. Soon they meet the Queen again, and the Duchess immediately disappears.
